Red WINE LIST
If you have a particular favourite wine that is not on the list Bespoke would be more than happy to source it for you.
Rich (not lottery levels) with loads of lush, dark fruits and
no oak – utterly embarrasses its neighbours in Rioja
Bright ruby red blend (Moreto, Castelao & Trincadeira),
ripe red fruits, pretty full-bodied, no oak
A mellow, friendly, good value red. Medium-bodied with good fruit
Forge Mill Shiraz/Cinsault
Cinsault gives this wine a bit more of a twist than a standard Shiraz.
It still has plenty of Shiraz character. A good juicy tasty red
Bellefontaine Cabernet Sauvignon
Lovely and juicy with crushed blackcurrent fruit and gentle herbiness
Domaine De Bahourat Cabernet
Possibly the softest, most rounded French cab we’ve seen.
Rich bramble and blackcurrant fruit with green
pepper and a touch of crushed mint
Rioja Anzarena Crianza
Big, modern style with bags of sweet damson
jam flavour and wonderfully smooth texture
The Cut Pinot Noir
Great value Kiwi Pinot from taste necromancers Kahaurangi Estate
– nicely aromatic, Medium-weight cherry fruit and a touch of
nice oak spice on the finish. Utterly drinkable
Glenelly Grand Vin De Glenelly
Shiraz, Cab Sauv, Merlot and pin prick of Petit Verdot, from the new
SA outpost of ex-owner of Bordeaux giant Pichon Longueville.
Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir
Working out from a soft core through the stratas of crunchy
red fruit, delicate oak, ephemeral spices finishing
in the stratosphere of elegant perfume
